At its sound, all else falls away.
सुन के भुल्ल गईआं सभ बातां ।
Soundless arrows pierced me; the false world spreads its show.
लग्ग गए अनहद बान न्यारे, झूठी दुनियां कूड़ पसारे,
Traders seek the Master's face; all else slips from my mind.
साईं मुक्ख वेखन वणजारे, मैनूं भुल्ल गईआं सभ बातां ।

मुरली बाज उठी अणघातां ।
I trapped the restless deer; it trapped and stilled me too.
हुन मैं चैंचल मिरग फहाइआ, ओसे मैनूं बन्न्ह बहाइआ,
Love taught its twofold prayer; prayers of three and four were left behind.
सिरफ दुगाना इश्क पढ़ाइआ, रह गईआं त्रै चार कातां ।

My love stood at the door; father brought his quarrel.
बूहे आण खलोता यार, बाबल पुज्ज प्या तकरार,
Live by the word of witness; Muhammad bears the plea.
कलमे नाल जे रहे वेहार, नबी मुहंमद भरे सफातां ।
