मुसलमान सिव्यां (सड़ने) तों डरदे हिन्दू डरदे गोर ।
Both perish in this struggle; such is their mutual spite.
दोवें एसे दे विच्च मरदे इहो दोहां दी खोर ।

Who searched found him; lament alone won no splendour.
जिस ढूंडाइआ तिस ने पाइआ ना झुर झुर होया मोर ।

पीरे पीरां बग़दाद असाडा मुरशद तख़त लाहौर ।
