BULLEH SHAHTHE LIVING VERSE
FROM THE WORDS OF BULLEH SHAH

Aao faqiro mele chaliye

Come, seekers, to the gathering

Two ways into the same verse. Tap a line to find its echo.

Come, seekers, to the fair; the knower's music calls.

Hear the unstruck song in all its colours; shed disguise.

That sound joins all together; its sovereign has no foe.

Without true meeting, the fair is empty: all our wealth is gone.

The seeker's road is hard; keep the heart's instrument in tune.

Through longing, servant meets the Lord; Bulla, read the world unveiled.
