BULLEH SHAHTHE LIVING VERSE
FROM THE WORDS OF BULLEH SHAH

Mere Ghar Aia Pia Hamara

My Beloved Has Come Home

Two ways into the same verse. Tap a line to find its echo.

Wonder! Oneness sings; the unstruck flute resounds.

I have found Lahore's throne: my love has come home.

My faults burned in the blow of true love.

Now his shelter covers me: my love has come home.

Why count the years? The cup of rapture is in my hand.

Essence and attributes, all forgotten: my love has come home.

What are twenty, fifty years? One glance from my love—

the whole world glows crimson: my love has come home.

Hope has opened, Bulleh; the Beloved stands beside me.

The Lord fulfilled our longing: my love has come home.
