मतलक ज़ात जमाल विखाइआ, वहदत पाइआ शोर ।
Who can know me now? I have become another.
हुण मैनूं कौण पछाणे, हुण मैं हो गई नी कुझ होर ।
Beyond place, the beloved appears within and without.
अव्वल हो के लामकानी, ज़ाहर बातन दिसदा जानी,
No name or trace of me remains; every quarrel falls still.
रिहा ना मेरा नाम निशानी, मिट गया झगड़ा शोर ।
Who can know me now? I have become another.
हुण मैनूं कौण पछाणे, हुण मैं हो गई नी कुझ होर ।
The beloved unveils his beauty; wandering saints grow drunk.
प्यारा आप जमाल विखाले, मसत कलन्दर होण मतवाले,
Watch the swan's grace now, Bullah; the crow's gait is gone.
हंसां दे हुण वेख लै चाले, बुल्ल्हा कागां दी हुण गई टोर ।
