BULLEH SHAHTHE LIVING VERSE
FROM THE WORDS OF BULLEH SHAH

Kadi Aa Mil Birhon Satai Nu

Come to the One Tormented by Separation

Two ways into the same verse. Tap a line to find its echo.

Let love strike, and hear your own cry.

What can you know of another's wound?

Come to me, worn down by missing you.

Whoever would trade in love

must first lay down their head.

Come to me, worn down by missing you.

Those rich in deeds have crossed the water.

My honour rests in my lover's hands.

Come to me, worn down by missing you.

Grief runs deep; affliction rises,

and I am caught in a merciless whirl.

Come to me, worn down by missing you.

Parents left behind, friends forgotten,

I give myself to the call: Ram, help me.

Come to me, worn down by missing you.
