ऐसा मन में आइयो रे, दुक्ख सुक्ख सभ वंञाययो रे ।
I burn all adornment; my body is one great fire.
हार शिंगार को आग लगाऊं, तन पर ढांड मचाययो रे ।
Those words of knowing came, and every name was lost;
सुन के ज्ञान कियां ऐसी बातां, नाम-निशान तभी अलघातां,
Like a cuckoo I cry all night; still you spare no pity.
कोइल वांङ मैं कूकां रातां, तैं अजे भी तरस ना आइउ रे ।
In deerskin, bearing skull-bowls, I beg to see your face.
गल मिरगानी सीस खप्परियां, दरशन की भीख मंगन चढ़आ,
A yogini in tangled locks, I coat my limbs in ash.
जोगन नाम बूहलत धरिआ, अंग बिभूत रमायउ रे ।
Love the mullah called; the summons rang true.
इश्क मुल्लां ने बांग सुणाई, इह गल्ल वाजब आई,
With faithful bows I hurry, my face against the niche.
कर कर सिदक सिजदे वल धाई, मूंह महराब टिकाययो रे ।
Love's city overturns the world; I die brimming with joy.
प्रेम नगर वाले उलटे चाले, मैं मोई भर खुशियां नाले,
I stepped into my own net, laughing beneath the blade.
आन फसी आपे विच जाले, हस्स हस्स आप कुहाययो रे ।
Bulla pledged body and life to the lord he loves.
बुल्ल्हा शौह संग प्रीत लगाई, जिय जामे दी दित्ती साई,
Shah Inayat, my guide, has bewitched my heart.
मुरशद शाह अनायत साईं, जिस दिल मेरा भरमाययो रे ।
