अल्ल्हा तों मैं ते करज़ बणायआ, हत्थों तूं मेरा करज़ाई ।
You nourished me in that hidden place where no one knew my name.
ओथे तां मेरी प्रवरिश कीती, जित्थे किसे नूं ख़बर ना काई ।
I entered this world only when my bread had come before.
ओथों तांहीं आए एथे , जां पहलों रोज़ी आई ।
Bulleh loves the one who knows the truth beneath the veil.
बुल्ल्हे शाह है आशक उसदा, जिस तहकीक हकीकत पाई ।
